How Snaggo compares to other reservation alert apps
There are a few apps that text or email you when a Disney table opens. Most work the same basic way: you say what you want, they watch, and you book it yourself on the official site.
The differences are in what you can watch, how you get told, and how you pay. Here is what Snaggo does, and the questions worth asking any app before you buy.
| Feature | Snaggo | Ask any app |
|---|---|---|
| Parks | Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort and Universal Orlando. Universal needs Trip or Unlimited. | Which parks and resorts does it watch? |
| Restaurants and experiences | 166 in our catalog, plus Anywhere (beta): paste a Disney or Universal booking page and we watch it. | Is the restaurant you want on the list? |
| Dates | Up to 12 dates per watch. | How many dates can one alert cover? |
| Times | An exact time, or an earliest-to-latest window in 15-minute steps. Or tap Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. | Can you set a time window, or only a meal? |
| Backups | Add backup restaurants in the same park to one watch. | Can one alert cover more than one restaurant? |
| How you hear | Trip and Unlimited: text and email. Free: email only. | Text, email, or both? Is texting extra? |
| Free plan | 3 Disney watches and 8 alert emails. No texts. | Can you try it before you pay? |
| Price | Trip: $9 once for 60 days, unlimited watches, no auto-renew. Unlimited: $14 a month, or $99 for 12 months. | Do you pay per alert, per month, or per trip? Does it auto-renew? |
| Booking | We text you the official link. You book it. We never hold the table. | Does it book for you, or send you to the official site? |
Snaggo is a good fit if
- You have one trip coming up and want one price for it, with no subscription.
- Your dates or times are flexible, so 12 dates and a time window help.
- You are doing Universal Orlando, or Disney and Universal on one trip.
- You want nearby backups on the same watch.
Another app may suit you better if
- You are going to a Disney park outside Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Snaggo does not watch those.
- You only want one alert for one restaurant on one date, and another app prices that lower.
- You need a bigger party than Snaggo allows (up to 12 people).
