Disney dining cancellation policy

Plans change. Here's how cancelling a Disney World or Disneyland dining reservation works, what it costs if you're late, and which restaurants have stricter rules.

Disney World: the 2-hour rule

At most Disney World restaurants you can cancel or change your booking up to 2 hours before your time, with no fee.

Cancel inside 2 hours, or don't show up, and most restaurants charge $10 per person to the card on the booking. You also can't change a booking inside 2 hours.

When you cancel, Disney puts your time back on the calendar right away for someone else to book.

Each restaurant's policy is shown when you book, and again in your confirmation email.

The exact terms are shown when you book and in your confirmation email. Cancel or change it in the Disneyland app under My Plans, or on the Disneyland website.

How to cancel or change a booking

  • Disney World: cancel or change it in the My Disney Experience app or on the Disney World website. You can also call (407) WDW-DINE.
  • Disneyland: open the Disneyland app and tap My Plans, or use the Disneyland website.

Why cancellations matter if you still need a table

A cancelled time goes back on Disney's calendar right away. If the restaurant you want is full, keep checking, or set a Snaggo watch and we'll text you the official link when a time that fits opens. You book it yourself. We never hold a table and we can't promise one.
